Promotion Requirements Summary
Academic
Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C average or better) based on the end of 7th and 8th grade years.
Attendance
More than 5 absences per quarter may exclude a student from promotion activities.
More than 5 tardies per quarter may exclude a student from promotion activities.
Behavior
No more than two unsatisfactory citizenship marks per quarter may exclude a student from promotion activities.
More than two suspensions during 8th grade may exclude a student from promotion activities.
Any discipline during 4th quarter may exclude a student from promotion activities.

Yearbook Signing Party
Promotion Ceremony
In addition to promotion requirements, we explained the parameters for the No-Go List. This information applies to all grade levels.
“No-Go” List
Students on the "NoGoList" may not participate in any Glick extracurricular activities, school dances, or sports. Students may be placed on the “No-Go” list for:
GPA below 2.0 (may be rechecked three weeks into a new quarter)
Five or more referrals (results in a 45-day probation period)
Suspensions
Six or more tardies per quarter (remains on list for that quarter)
Students are notified if they are placed on the No-Go List for any of the above reasons.
